FAQ ABOUT RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Your complete satisfaction is our goal and we have an easy return policy. If any item you purchase from us does not meet your expectations for a diving related application, you may return it; with the exception of a very few items clearly identified in our product description details as non-returnable.

The purchase price of merchandise returned in unused condition within 60 days of the date of delivery will be refunded to the original purchaser in the same form as the method of order payment. For merchandise returned in any other condition or after two months, the purchaser will be given a store merchandise discount amount valid up to two years for use on future purchases.

Only a very few items clearly identified in our product description details as non-returnable do not qualify for return with refund or merchandise credit. The types of products we typically describe as non-returnable are oxygen sensors, CO2 absorbent, rebreathers, DPVs, repair parts, and special order items. Also, purchases for use in non-diving applications are not qualified for return or refund.
All of the masks and fins we sell are returnable if they don't fit. Just send it back to us; the order number is your return authorization. For details and return procedure please read Returns & Refunds.
Oxygen sensors and absorbent are some of the very few items on our website that are NOT returnable, because we can't know with absolute certainty how they were handled once delivered. Additional shipping and handling of the return can also degrade performance. These consumables are critical to safety in diving, and our customers have a reasonable expectation of receiving as factory fresh a product as possible from Dive Gear Express. Your complete satisfaction is our goal, so please consider carefully before purchase.

Just send it back to us; the order number is your return authorization. Although not required, we suggest you contact us before making a return because in many cases we can resolve your concerns without creating a return.

It's fast and easy to perform an exchange at Dive Gear Express. Simply return the items you don't want following our return instructions. Then order the new items you want from the website. This order will get started on the way to you immediately. Once your return has been received, it will be processed according to our Return policy.

All products purchased through Dive Gear Express are backed by the branded manufacturer limited warranty. Warranties vary by brand and type of product so please consult the manufacturer's website and/or user manual of the product in question for specific warranty details.

All our house brand DGX Gears™ products are guaranteed for the useful life of the product, backed by Dive Gear Express. All rechargeable batteries, generic and unbranded products are guaranteed by Dive Gear Express for two years from date of purchase. All services by Dive Gear Express are guaranteed for a period of ninety days. All service kits and repair parts are sold with no guarantees.

In general, warranties from all brands are limited to defects in materials or workmanship, only apply to personal use in recreational diving related applications by the original purchaser, and exclude all other uses as well as excluding normal wear, modifications and cosmetic defects. Warranty liability is limited to the manufacturer's choice of repair to the original product, replacement with a similar or reconditioned product, merchandise discount, or refund.

Warranty service usually requires return to either Dive Gear Express or the branded manufacturer if you prefer. If you are are unable to use a pre-paid return label then you pay for warranty shipping costs back to us and we always pay for the warranty shipping costs back to you.

Although we issue refunds promptly, bank card refund transactions are normally much slower to appear on activity summaries than charge transactions. Refunds issued to a credit card transaction typically post to your account within 3-5 business days. Refunds issued to a pin-less debit card transaction can take 10 business days to reflect on the account balance. These refund time frames vary slightly from one financial institution to another, but can be as long as 30 days for cross border transactions involving currency exchanges. The refund time frame can also be a little longer when a 3rd party payment gateway was used to fund the original transaction.
