Date Specific Delivery

We are willing to accommodate requests for date-specific delivery to domestic U.S. physical addresses only (no PO boxes or non-U.S. addresses), such as a friend, family member, destination dive shop, or hotel. Timely collection of the package at the delivery address is your responsibility. If transit delays occur or your travel plans change, you are responsible for contacting someone at the delivery address and arranging for the package to be held or forwarded to you.


This page explains how to place an order for delivery on a specified date to a hotel or another domestic U.S. address that is not your own.

  • We accept date-specific delivery orders up to 30 days before the requested delivery date. Although paid shipping orders normally dispatch the next business day, we recommend placing your order approximately one to two weeks before your expected arrival date. Delivery can occur at any time during business hours, and often late afternoon or evening for residential addresses, on the requested date. We strongly recommend allowing at least a full two-day delivery window, as UPS has suspended most service guarantees.

  • Be certain of the ship-to address. Incorrect or incomplete addressing will delay your package, and we are unable to offer date-specific delivery outside the United States. Some hotels, office complexes, hospitals, and institutional campuses publish a vanity address that is not suitable for package delivery, and their toll-free number may reach an off-site call center rather than the property. The best approach is to contact the reception desk directly and ask for the actual street address for deliveries, the five-digit ZIP Code, and a direct-dial phone number. You may also wish to ask how they handle packages addressed to guests or visitors.

  • FLORIDA NOTICE - We are not required to collect tax on orders shipped to addresses outside Florida. If the order is shipped to an address inside Florida, we must collect sales tax, generally between 6% and 8% depending on the specific address. For example, Disney World Orlando is in Orange County with a tax rate of 6.5%, while many nearby southern hotels and venues are in Osceola County with a 7.0% tax rate. The area nearest Miami International Airport (MIA) is in Miami-Dade County with a 7.0% tax rate.

  • Select CHECKOUT once your complete order has been added to the shopping cart.

    1. In the SHIP-TO ADDRESS section, enter your name, the company (hotel) or in-care-of name, street address, city, state, ZIP Code, and a domestic U.S. telephone contact number. The phone number is important in case the driver is unable to deliver. You may enter a contact number for someone at the destination, such as the front desk, or your own domestic U.S. cell phone number if available. We are not responsible for delays caused by an incorrect or incomplete shipping address.

    2. In the SHIPPING METHOD section, you MUST select paid United Parcel Service (UPS) shipping, which offers date-definite delivery. The desired arrival date can be up to 30 days after, and must be no earlier than, the estimated delivery date shown in the shopping cart for the selected UPS service. UPS Ground services can deliver at any time during business hours and well into the evening for residential addresses. UPS 2nd Day and UPS Next Day normally deliver before Noon for most commercial addresses. Do not select USPS or Super Saver, because those services do not have predictable delivery times.

    3. In the PAYMENT INFORMATION section, select only Credit Card as your payment method. To enter a billing address different from the shipping address, uncheck the "My billing and shipping address are the same" box, enter the billing address, and click "Update Billing Address".

    4. In the ORDER COMMENTS dialog box on our checkout form, write "Please ship to arrive on date DD-MMM-YYYY. Please mark the package HOLD FOR GUEST ARRIVAL." Select the date to be the day before or the day of your arrival. UPS deliveries do not normally occur on Saturday, Sunday, or on observed U.S. holidays.

    5. In the ORDER REVIEW section, check the box to agree to our Order Terms and Conditions, then click the Place Order button.

  • When your order has been submitted correctly, you will immediately receive an automated e-mail acknowledgment with a summary of the order. If you do not receive a copy within a few minutes, please contact us to confirm the status. We will pull and pack the order within 24 to 72 hours and charge your card immediately so that payment issues do not delay shipping. We will calculate the expected transit time and choose a dispatch date intended to arrive as close as possible to, but not later than, the requested delivery date. Delivery dates are estimates based on "best effort" carrier services after dispatch, and even for expedited services with money-back guarantees, delivery dates are not certain and refunds apply only under limited carrier conditions.   • Once we have processed the order, you will receive an e-mail order confirmation that may show the shipping address reformatted according to carrier addressing rules. Please re-check the shipping address in the order confirmation.

  • When we ship, you will receive another e-mail with the UPS real-time online tracking number. We understand you may be traveling, but if possible you should use the tracking number to monitor the package. Tracking will also show when it was delivered and who signed for it. Hotels do not reliably notify guests that a package has arrived, so you must present yourself at the reception desk or to the hotel bell captain and request the package. Once UPS picks up the package from our facility, we cannot control transit, so timely collection at the delivery address is your responsibility. UPS is generally reliable, but transportation delays can occur, particularly due to adverse weather. If delays occur or your travel plans change, you are responsible for contacting someone at the delivery address and arranging for the package to be held or forwarded to you.
