We ship most orders the same business day.

About Our Shipping -- We ship worldwide from Pompano Beach FL 33073 USA, subject to some restrictions for a few specific countries, with guaranteed safe arrival via your paid choice of U.S. Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS), or DHL Worldwide Express. Once you reach a minimum order value that depends on the products and destination, most orders have a Super Saver FREE Shipping option where we select the carriers and service levels. You also can choose contact-less curbside pickup of your order at our retail store location.

Guaranteed safe arrival means we are responsible for delivery of the undamaged order to the ship-to address. You are responsible for providing the correct address of a delivery location that is accessible, safe and secure; then collecting the order from the carrier and promptly notifying us of any discrepancies. For international orders shipped outside the US, you are also responsible for paying import fees upon delivery. Please note the special conditions for orders shipped to APO/FPO/DPO mailboxes, orders with specified date delivery, orders requesting non-guaranteed shipping, and orders shipped to package forwarding services.

Same-Day Dispatch -- Orders with paid shipping and all Items marked In Stock, paid-in-full before 2:00 PM (USPS) or 3:30 PM (UPS | DHL) Eastern Time, usually dispatch the same business day, weekends and holidays excepted. Most other orders dispatch within one or two business days. We'll always e-mail a tracking number when the order has shipped. The day of dispatch does not count as a transit day.

There is no weekend or holiday pickup carrier service for any of our expedited shipping options. Therefore, an expedited order that was fulfilled on a Friday evening, Saturday or Sunday or holiday does not actually reach the carrier systems and begin transit until Monday or the next business day.

Shipping Rates -- The online rates quoted to us by the carrier are the exact same rates, including our carrier discounts, we show you during checkout. The easiest way for you determine our domestic or international shipping costs is to simply add your product choices to the shopping cart, select a checkout option, and then enter the ship to address to see all the various shipping options available and their exact cost.

Please keep in mind that for a low value order the minimum shipping fees can be disproportionate to the value of the order, so consider carefully before ordering low value goods with expedited shipping especially for international destinations.

Delivery Terms -- If we arrange guaranteed shipping then delivery terms are DAP destination (Incoterms 2020). DAP means we are responsible for packing plus shipping costs and ownership transfers to you upon delivery from the carrier to that address. For international orders shipped outside the US, DAP means you are responsible for paying import fees collected upon delivery. If your order specifies Store Pickup then delivery terms are EXW origin (Incoterms 2020). EXW means your unpackaged order is available for collection at our retail store location and ownership transfers to you upon exiting our premises.

Projected delivery dates are estimates based on "best effort" services by the carriers and currently neither USPS, UPS, nor DHL guarantees they will be able to deliver on that date, even for paid expedited services. This means the carriers will not issue refunds if they fail to meet their transit time commitments and delivery date estimates for most services. Please see our Transit Delays Advisory.

Domestic Paid Shipping Choices

USPS Logo DomesticUS Postal Service Ground Advantage provides delivery via mail carrier to all U.S. addresses with a typical transit time of less than a week. Expedited USPS Priority Mail Express® receives priority order processing from Dive Gear Express and provides next-day to 2–day delivery by 6 PM to most locations with a USPS money-back guarantee. Using your USPS tracking number, you can manage delivery of your package with the USPS Informed Delivery® website.


UPS Logo DomesticUPS Ground provides day-definite delivery via private carrier to physical addresses (no PO boxes) with a typical transit time of three business days or less for most addresses. Expedited Next Day Air® receives priority order processing from Dive Gear Express and provides next day delivery by 10:30 AM to most locations with a UPS money-back guarantee. Using your UPS tracking number, you can manage delivery of your package with the UPS My Choice® website.


International Paid Shipping Choices

International Notice: Orders shipped outside the US are subject to local import fees collected by the courier upon delivery. Please read our SCUBA Diving Equipment Import Duties and Taxes (VAT) page for detailed country by country guidelines to estimating duties and taxes.

USPS Logo InternationalUS Postal Service Priority Mail International provides delivery via mail carrier to most addresses outside the US. Delivery is typically about two to four weeks, not counting any time required to clear local Customs. Depending on the destination country, door-to-door tracking information may not be available once the package reaches local Customs. USPS has a maximum value limit of USD $2500.00 on international packages.


UPS Logo International UPS Worldwide Expedited provides fast international delivery to many countries. Orders receive priority processing at Dive Gear Express and delivery is typically about one week including Customs clearance, although it can be significantly longer to remote areas. Using your UPS tracking number, you can manage delivery of your package with the UPS My Choice® website.


DHL Logo International DHL Express Worldwide provides the absolute fastest international delivery via private carrier. Orders receive priority processing at Dive Gear Express and delivery is typically less than a week including expedited in-house Customs clearance, although it can be significantly longer to remote areas. Using your DHL tracking number, you can manage international delivery of your package with DHL On Demand website.


We Can't Always Take Blame for the Problem, But Do Take Responsibility for the Solution

Over the years we have shipped a great many packages to both domestic and international destinations from our facility in Florida using USPS, UPS and DHL services. While we do everything within our power to assure a smooth delivery, in our long experience a few of those packages will have some kind of shipping problem. Statistically, problems with all three couriers are about the same although we have developed preferences for some specific combinations of courier and destination.

Transit delays are well outside our ability to predict or control, so we suggest you allow for the possibility of a transit delay when placing your order. Thankfully most problems are just brief delays due to equipment failures, capacity overloads, or inclement weather. Handling damage is rare but seems to occur more often with heavy items such as tanks and delicate items such as oxygen sensors. Occasionally a package encounters a bureaucratic SNAFU even though we follow best practices to describe the nature, value, and contents of our shipments. While we might be blamed for shipping problems, the fact is that internal issues with bureaucracies and couriers are all well outside our control.

However, we do take responsibility for helping find a solution to transit problems because Dive Gear Express guarantees safe arrival of your order. Although rare, we know a problem can be frustrating when it happens to you and we will work with you to resolve transit and delivery issues as quickly and effortlessly as possible. Express is part of our name and, while we can't overcome the physics of time and distance, we will try to get you back in the water as soon as possible.
