Important MPSA vs USPS differences

The Military Postal Service Agency (MPSA) is not the US Postal Service (USPS). USPS works with the military postal system to deliver APO and FPO mail. DPO addresses use the Department of State's diplomatic postal system. These additional handling arrangements can make delivery less predictable than ordinary domestic U.S. shipping.

Transit times depend on the destination, transportation availability, and local operating conditions. Multiple packages from the same order may arrive separately. USPS tracking may continue to show updates, but scans can be intermittent or delayed. A gap in tracking does not necessarily mean the package is lost.

The recipient's local base, fleet, or embassy post office may have information that is not available to us. Continue checking USPS tracking and contact that post office if the package appears delayed. Current addressing, restrictions, and inquiry contacts are available on the USPS Military & Diplomatic Mail page.

As a civilian small business, Dive Gear Express cannot control military or diplomatic mail handling or obtain continuous visibility of a package in transit. We appreciate the work of those serving overseas and continue to accept orders to eligible APO/FPO/DPO addresses. Please read our APO/FPO/DPO shipping policy for restrictions and how we handle prolonged delays.

In our experience, most delayed packages eventually arrive. Please allow extra time and keep in touch with your local post office.
