The options shown during checkout depend on the products in your cart, destination, and order value. Each option shows a price and a projected delivery date based on the selected service. Checkout remains the authoritative source for the exact methods, pricing, and delivery dates available for your specific order.

How Shipping Choices Work -- Most customers choose based on price and when the order is expected to arrive. Lower-priced options typically have later delivery dates. Faster services cost more, deliver sooner, and provide more consistent tracking.
Super Saver FREE Shipping -- Once you reach a minimum order value that depends on the products and destination, many orders have a Super Saver FREE Shipping option. This appears as a $0.00 option in checkout. With Super Saver, Dive Gear Express selects the carrier and service level. This option prioritizes lower cost over speed or carrier selection. If your order is time-sensitive, a paid shipping option is more appropriate.
Paid Shipping Options -- Paid shipping options allow you to choose a specific carrier and service level during checkout. The practical differences are price, delivery date, and tracking visibility. Available carriers and services vary by destination based on delivery reliability and performance.
Cost and Delivery Tradeoff -- Lower-priced services are appropriate when delivery timing is not urgent. Domestic delivery is typically a few days. International delivery may take several weeks depending on destination and Customs processing. Faster services receive priority order processing and typically show earlier delivery dates, but delivery dates are estimates based on "best effort" carrier services after dispatch. Tracking and Reliability -- Paid shipping services include tracking, but the level of detail varies by carrier, service level, and destination. For international shipments, tracking visibility may become limited after the package reaches the destination country or enters Customs processing. Faster services typically provide more consistent tracking and delivery predictability.
Carrier Examples -- Shipping options are fulfilled using USPS, UPS, or DHL depending on the service selected. Ground services include USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground. Expedited services include USPS Priority Mail Express®, UPS Next Day Air®, or DHL Express Worldwide. For most customers, the key differences are price, delivery date, and reliability rather than the carrier name itself.
International Considerations -- International shipping involves higher cost, more variable delivery timing, and possible Customs delay. Lower-priced options such as USPS Priority Mail International typically take two to four weeks and may have limited tracking visibility after reaching the destination country. Faster options such as UPS Worldwide Expedited or DHL Express Worldwide are more consistent and faster but cost more. Shipping cost may vary based on package size, weight, and contents. Curbside Pickup -- Some orders offer Curbside Pickup at our retail store location. Pickup avoids carrier transit and is appropriate for local customers or orders needed quickly. Availability depends on the products in the order and order processing status.
