Our 3/16 inch Shock cord (bungee) is a longer-lasting and more durable alternative to surgical tubing because it is rot-proof, waterproof, and resistant to mold, mildew and UV. Shock cord is constructed of continuous synthetic rubber strands with a nylon abrasion-resistant braided jacket, suitable for marine applications. Stretches 100% of its original length; a piece { 12 in | 30.5 cm } long will stretch to { 24 in | 61 cm }. The thick { 3/16 in | 0.5 cm } shock cord is a popular size, often used on hose retainers. Shock cord is also available in a { 100 ft | 30 m } ROLL at a substantial savings.

• { 1/8 in | 0.3 cm } - Thin - similar to cooked spaghetti, often used for wrist mounts, epaulet replacement / snoopy loops.
