The Light Monkey goodman handmount handle perfectly accepts the small Tekna Xtra Edge knife as a line cutter accessory. The blade is made of high carbon stainless steel, providing increased toughness and better edge holding. Both the black color sheath and blade handle are made with propriety fiber and titanium reinforced polymer. The blunt-tip cutting blade length is { 1.4 in | 3.6 cm } and the overall length is { 3.5 in | 8.9 cm }.

The base of the Light Monkey goodman handle is now pre-drilled and threaded to accept a screw which holds the knife sheath attached to either the outside or inside of the bottom of the handle, configured for left or right hand access. Threading an o-ring over the goodman handle and the knife handle itself while it is stored in the sheath helps keep the entire assembly in place until needed. When stored on the outside bottom of the goodman, a flick of the thumb and the knife is ready to be easily withdrawn from the sheath.
