I purchased my Ultra View Frameless mask a year ago, and having dived it extensively since, I am ready to share my experience. I am a Hawaii waterman and I dive every day; it is my great passion. I love long distance rough water destination swims, snorkel sightseeing, deep breath-hold, and do a bit of scuba. I have dived many hundreds of masks that are fine performers, but I am picky about details, and my personal box has a half dozen models that I consider pretty much perfect. I'm not going to name them because comparisons are subjective and personal. You must find your own fit and preferences, it is all that matters. I'm never sure where new kit will fit in my gear rotation, but I liked the UltraView right away. It has excellent panoramic view, a comfortable skirt, best functioning buckles, a big nose pocket, supple silicone, superb glass. I was unsure at first about little details that make this mask unique in my collection. The glass is slighly canted so it sits very close to my forehead and cheeks. I came to realize this provides excellent wide and downward views towards my feet, which allows me to really follow game circling behind me while prone. Additionally, I feel the close glass provides optimal magnification and great stereo view across the nose. For me the showroom air fitment of this mask is adequate, but not as savagely secure as some of my other masks, and without strap tension my deep smile lines can break the seal with facial movement. In the water, the fitment is transformed, and besides being exceedingly comfortable, this mask has never leaked a drop underwater (noting that I shave anytime I have 4 day stubble.) I regularly note that I have been down a couple of hours without a purge when I manually break the seal to ADD water to the mask. This silicone skirt is great! Supple with good give, soft but substantial. And the edges are subtly rounded, which leads me to my favorite feature: After 4 hours in the water, this mask remains completely comfortable. For this, I am inclined to say this mask has risen to the top of my list of perfect masks. The performance is fully the equal of any of my best kit.
