The low-pressure regulator hose is NOT included with this adapter. The adapter itself will add about {1.5 in | 3.8 cm} to the length of the regulator hose. The suggested lengths of the LP hose regulator hose are:

• 24-inch LP Reg hose is suggested for typical sport BCD length 19-inch corrugated hose
• 22-inch LP Reg hose is suggested for typical technical aircell length 16-inch corrugated hose

While it does not work to adapt a BC inflator hose to a regulator, it is possible to adapt a LP regulator hose to a standard BC inflator but to avoid confusion we list that adapter separately (see related products above.) Having the additional low-flow BC inflator hose adapter in your save-a-dive kit provides an easy way to use your regulator with a different BC that has a common low-flow Schrader QD post simply by swapping the adapter on the end of the hose.

IMPORTANT ADVISORY: This adapter contains a spring loaded one-way check valve that operates such that, when the low-pressure hose is disconnected from the regulator second stage, the check valve will seal the end of the hose under pressure. If you push the naked adapter (i.e. without it being connected to a regulator hose) on to the QD post of the regulator then the check valve assembly will become dislodged and possibly fall out of the adapter. If that happens, remove the adapter from the second stage, then place the check valve assembly back in the adapter and re-seat by using a thin plastic or wooden dowel to push on the back of the assembly until you feel it click back into place.
