The Apeks SMB measures { 4.6 ft | 1.4 m } by { 6.0 in | 15 cm } and is available in your choice of orange or yellow. The Apeks marker is a fully closed system that can be fully inflated orally on a single breath, meaning fast deployment on the surface or at depth. The closed design with an over pressure relief valve (OPV) eliminates the chance that gas will escape from the bag once it reaches the surface. Both sides of the surface marker have a large area of SOLAS reflective tape to ensure maximum visibility. Two large eyelets at the top allow you to attach a glow stick, strobe or slate and the bottom has a full sized stainless steel D-ring plus a sewn-in bungee loop to help make for compact storage. The bag has heat sealed and fully taped edges for durability.

Although a marking tube should not be used as a lift bag, a fully inflated tube may be considered to have approximately { 10 lb | 5 kg } of lift when completely submerged.
