The O-rings in this kit are 90-duro and well suited for the SCUBA applications we describe. The stiff 90-duro O-rings are more durable in static applications where the O-ring is providing a seal with stationary or occasionally moving parts, such as a valve. The fluorocarbon elastomer (aka Viton™, aka FKM, aka FPM) O-rings in this kit are brown in color.
