Avelo Mode allows a diver using the Avelo Dive System equipment to gain easy visibility of their Avelo dive data and and ensure accurate gas time remaining when you enable Avelo Mode on the Teric dive computer. The Avelo Mode upgrade is supported only by the V30 or later firmware version of your Shearwater Teric, Peregrine TX, or Perdix 2 and SWIFT transmitter, when paired with the Avelo Dive System. An unlock code to enable the feature in the firmware is returned to you via E-mail within 72 hours.

Avelo Mode includes the following:

• Personal/gear/buoyancy setup menu
• Gas time remaining as % of starting pressure
• Tank pressure
• Calculation of your buoyancy status
• User input to “clear” buoyancy status to “neutral”
• Cloud support for Avelo profiles

Together with the SWIFT transmitter and Avelo Dive System equipment, using the Avelo Mode on your Shearwater computer can help enhance safety and overall dive performance through understanding the zone of neutral buoyancy, diver workload and efficiency. Ultimately, divers can experience longer dives and more bottom time compared to diving Avelo alone.

You will receive your upgrade code as soon as possible, typically in a few hours. The controlling factor is the exact time of day you place your order and how that relates to Shearwater's office hours. The code is generated manually from your serial number by the Shearwater office staff and it can be as long as 72 hours if you place your order on Friday afternoon before you receive the code by e-mail on Monday afternoon.
