The OMS Backplate Pad w/ Weight Pockets offers closed foam padding AND incorporates (4) ballast weight pockets in the back of the pad for simplicity.

When diving without a wetsuit or with only minimal thermal protection, the additional padding provides the desired comfort for enjoyable and extended dives. An excellent feature of this unique design is the elimination of the need for assembly screws - the backplate pad does not require any assembly screws or mounting adapters. It is a "sleeve" design that easily slides over the entire backplate. It is compatible with either the Aluminum or Stainless Steel OMS backplate. It is not a universal fit for other brand backplates and is designed for use ONLY with the OMS backplates.

Properly placed cam strap and harness webbing slots allow for single or double tank diving. The backplate pad includes four (4) separate weight pockets that can hold up to {3lb | 1.5kg} in each pocket for a total of up to {12 lbs | 6 kgs}.
