The Mares XR Tek Pocket Ultra LIght Shorts features external quick access pockets with a velcro closure along with a a zippered compartment on the top flap for objects such as arrows and cookies that includes two short bungee loops. Inside the main compartment of each pocket are two longer { 10 in | 25 cm } bungee loops to clip off spools and pocket lights, and the main compartment includes a divider panel for wetnotes. The outer velcro closure flaps are easily grabbed and opened using the handle sewn on the end, and the pockets also include two stainless drain grommets on the bottom along with a grommet on each side. The pockets are made from tough, rip-resistant ballistic nylon and are { 9.5 x 7.0 in | 24 cm x 18 cm }. The internal depth expands from to { 2.5 in | 6.4 cm }. The elastic waist band is exceptionally adjustable using velcro tabs and also includes an gripping surface to help keep the shorts in place.
