ERDI Testifying in Court
- Learn about the law before you make the dive
- Be prepared to testify and know your role in court
- Includes review questions for each chapter
- Excellent learning tool for any PSD or SAR diver
The ERDI Testifying in Court manual is an invaluable asset that should be read before you embark on any PSD(Public Safety Diver) or SAR(Search and Rescue) dive. As every PSD or SAR diver knows, any dive can turn into a legal case that then must be tried in a court of law. It is critically important to be prepared and understand what your role is when you get called to the witness stand. Know the facts and make sure you have done the preliminary work required.

on 8 August, 2016I was very disappointed in the book. Most of the information could be gleaned from watching a season of Law & Order on television. I somewhat expected that when buying it, but thought it would be good to have everything in one place.
It took about one hour to read. There are far too few pages for the high price they are charging. To add insult to injury, it was poorly edited. After each chapter are a series of review questions and answers. At the end of Chapter 5 (Testifying in Court) question number six asks how to qualify as an expert with the answers possible being identical to Chapter Three's question six (When should you arrive in court). (30 minutes to one hour early) Someone pasted the wrong answers under the wrong question. The book was published in 2013 and there is no correction. Why did it ever make it into print without a good editor reading it? I know I'm being picky, but it's not a cheap book and I expected better from ERDI/TDI/SDI.Comment Thank you for your feedback!
