The Divesoft reel offers a rugged modular design that allows you to select the length of line you desire by using a 'spool spacer' to allow for large volume of line or choose the standard size for a more traditional length. The included center spool spacing bar will allow three (3) different widths of the spool {330 ft | 100 m}, {500 ft | 150 m} and {900 ft | 275 m} settings using 1.6 mm or 1.7 mm diameter line (approximately #18 or #21 gauge} In addition to an empty reel with no line at all if you wish to spool up your own selection of line, the reel is available from the factory with two pre-load options of either {492 ft | 150 m} OR {656 ft | 200 m} of White 1.6 mm (approximately #18 gauge) Divesoft Polyethersulfone (PES) line.This reel does not include a double end snap or bolt snap, sold separately in a range of styles and sizes.

In addition to the factory Polyethersulfone (PES) line loads, the reel is available without line (i.e. empty) at very attractive price and we are offering an additional savings to load this reel with your choice of DGX Hi-Viz Polyester or DGX Ultra-Viz Retroflective line. The reel has been very popular when loaded with our top selling DGX Hi-Viz Polyester Line in Blaze Orange.

This is an expedition grade product; the spool is made of quality Delrin material to eliminate warping with an Aluminum handle for lightweight durability. The knurled stainless steel lockdown screw allows for easy one touch control even in cold water with dry gloves on. There is a built-in rubber stopper at the end of the lockdown screw that is aligned along the narrow end of the spool to offer braking and stopping (tension control) as needed. Machined with very tight tolerances to prevent line jams while deploying even with the thinnest line options. The winding knob is longer than most to fit any size hand and rotates for easy use, and also has a deep groove for better grip.

NOTE: A 3mm Allen wrench as well as #0 and #2 Phillips screwdriver are required for disassembly and assembly of the reel. If you have a LOT of line to load, the task will seem quick and easy if you add an optional Divesoft Line Winder.
