Unlike a basic nitrox analyzer, ECHO is intended for divers who need a more complete picture of the gas in the cylinder. Oxygen and helium analysis allow the diver or blender to confirm the labeled mix before the dive, while the built-in carbon monoxide sensor provides an added check for contamination that a standard O₂ analyzer would not detect. The ECHO includes a dedicated CO sensor and can detect possible carbon monoxide contamination in breathing gases.

Helium measurement is performed using acoustic speed-of-sound technology, avoiding the need for a consumable helium sensor. ECHO can also be ordered with either a traditional galvanic oxygen sensor or a solid-state optical oxygen sensor. The optical oxygen sensor option is intended to reduce routine sensor replacement and maintenance compared with conventional galvanic-cell analyzers.

ECHO is also designed around a modern app-connected workflow. Compatible models connect with the Divesoft App for expanded display, cylinder records, gas-management functions, and label printing. When paired with compatible printing equipment, ECHO can generate cylinder labels directly from the analyzed gas data.

Use the Divesoft ECHO when a simple oxygen analyzer is not enough. It is a better fit for technical divers, mixed-gas divers, instructors, dive centers, and gas blenders who routinely verify trimix or who want CO screening as part of their gas-check procedure. For basic recreational nitrox use, a simpler O₂-only analyzer may be adequate. For mixed-gas diving or field gas verification where oxygen, helium, and carbon monoxide all matter, ECHO provides a more complete tool in one unit.
