The Dive Rite XT SS Backplate design has evolved to include features and ergonomics for the modern diver. The unique shape contours the diver’s back while generously rounded corners prevent the plate from digging in or damaging exposure suits.

This is the previous model standard profile backplate offered at a reduced price.

The backplate is constructed of 10 gauge, low carbon and rust resistant 316L grade stainless steel. This plate is { 6.4 lb | 2.9 kg } and is approximately { 15.5 in | 39.4 cm } high and { 10.5 in | 26.7 cm } wide at the base, { 9 in | 22.9 cm } wide at the top before the corner curve.
