Dive Rite TransPac Harness Only (2026 Model)

The Dive Rite TransPac Harness uses a true mountaineer backpack design with integrated hip pads, a lumbar design that follows the contour of the soft backplate, and ergonomic shoulder pads. The waist webbing is removable, grommet placements allow for the attachment of sidemount bungees or drysuit inflation bottles and a lower profile chest plate allows for better pivot of the side adjustment straps. The TransPac balances weight across the hips and back, evenly distributing the weight of single or double tanks. The TransPac is available in sizes Small through XX-Large. Sizes Large-Short and X-Large-Short are specifically designed for those with shorter torsos.

The molded dual density foam lumbar pad is contoured in all the right places with mesh airflow channels for instant draining topside, and features integrated wrap-around hip pads that snugly hug the lower back giving critical support and cushioning. Foam shoulder pads fit perfectly beneath the two-inch shoulder webbing to give chafe-free comfort. Chest-support strap provides ideal load distribution and when used with the removable 1.5-inch crotch strap, provides stability and comfort in the water. Transition plates at the shoulders allow for quick user addition/removal of hardware and finite adjustments.

All sizes include two 2-inch marine-grade stainless steel bent D-rings on each shoulder. All sizes also come standard with one 2-inch marine-grade stainless steel bent D-ring on each side of the waist webbing. Included dual 2-inch cam tank straps with marine-grade stainless steel buckles are positioned to give plenty of head room for easy maneuvering in the water.

Neutrally buoyant, the TransPac weighs less than { 5 lbs | 2.23 kg } and packs flat for travel. Optional weight pockets can be mounted easily onto the waist belt.
