These Dive Rite Open Bottom SMBs are offered at reduced pricing due to ink marks around the reflective logo at the top and below the text at the bottom. Examples of these marks are shown in the photos, and do not affect the functionality.

The Dive Rite Open Bottom SMB is available in your choice of safety orange, yellow or pink and includes SOLAS reflective tape for extra visibility. The height at the surface for the SMB is approximately { 4.8 ft | 1.46 m }, and measures { 8.5 in | 21.6 cm } wide when flat. Constructed of TPU laminated 210 denier nylon along with a TPU OPV retainer and inflation tube, the bag is RF welded and double stitched and includes a stainless steel D-ring at the bottom and a bungee loop to help make for compact storage. The bag can be inflated at depth or on the surface via a stainless steel non-locking low-pressure inflation connector that incorporates a one-way valve. The closed design with an over pressure relief valve (OPV) eliminates the chance that gas will escape from the bag once it reaches the surface.

Although a marking tube should not be used as a lift bag, for emergency purposes the fully inflated tube may be considered to have approximately { 13 lb | 6 kg } of lift when completely submerged.
