The Dive Rite Rubber Pad is typically used on any tank strap to prevent slipping and provide a secure grip as well as to protect the cylinder from a metal cam buckle. These pads are also included with the Dive Rite and DGX brand single tank adapter kits. With slots at each end, webbing can thread through this pad easily. The rubber underside is textured for better grip on the wet cylinder. It may also be used as a shoulder pad of sorts and is sometimes used under block lead weight used to adjust in-water trim when they are mounted on the upper portion of harness shoulder straps to offer a cushion. Sold each, if you need a pair order two.

The width of the Standard pad is {2.5 in | 6.3 cm} and length is {6 in | 15.2 cm}.

The width of the Narrow pad is {2.0 in | 5.1 cm} and length is {6 in | 15.2 cm}.

Dive Rite replacement pads for Cam Strap are Divine

Oct 9, 2017
Dive Rite takes a modular approach to equipment: replace parts as needed rather buy a whole new unit. My TransPac is about 22-23 years old. I finally replaced the pads that help fix the cam straps to the tank. Tank is now held tight!
