The design of the value priced DGX Sidehandle Reel is a favorite among long time technical divers who appreciate the simplicity and ease of use for this guideline reel. Available pre-loaded with your line choice for { 200 ft | 60 m } of DGX Hi-Viz Polyester or DGX Ultra-Viz Retroflective, Divesoft Polyethersulfone (PES), or Dive Rite Nylon, or empty and load your own. The spool and handle are machined from polyoxymethylene (aka POM-H, acetal resin) an engineered thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability. Designed to be jam-resistant using precision machine tolerances between the frame and spool, minimizing the possibility for the line to slip between the spool and the frame. A line stop and a knurled stainless steel lockdown screw ensures a secure grip. Spool is approximately {4 in | 10 cm} in diameter and { 2.3 in | 6 cm} wide.

Customer Reviews
Warning
In the interest of transparency, the reason this reel is in the bargain annex is that the feedback from our customers has been disappointing. That picture is from the "hand sample" we used to evaluate and test, but unfortunately the production run made it on to our shelves and to our customers. The issue is production quality is just not what we want representative of our DGX Gears brand. Somebody somewhere cut a corner and we failed to catch it during receiving. We are making good to our customers who have already purchased, and if you want to purchase at this steep discount closeout price the reel continues to be covered under our full return & refund policy.
