The DGX DIN to Pin index Oxygen adapter lets you connect an emergency medical oxygen PIN Index Regulator with the CGA870 fitting to a common 200 BAR DIN SCUBA cylinder valve.

Emergency medical oxygen cylinders have PIN Index fittings designed for connection to medical oxygen regulators. Unfortunately most emergency kits only carry a few minutes of usable oxygen for the diver in need. This is rarely an adequate amount required to get the diver to proper medical attention if they are in a remote location. This fitting allows you to continue to administer oxygen to the diver in need from oxygen service 200 BAR DIN valve SCUBA cylinders containing oxygen. Simply attach to a divers oxygen decompression cylinder and continue emergency administration of oxygen. The 200 BAR DIN fitting adapter can screw into any 200 BAR DIN cylinder valve fitting. It is not compatible with 300 BAR valves. This adapter can also enable transfilling oxygen from medical oxygen cascade systems with CGA870 fill whip fittings in to oxygen service SCUBA cylinders with 200 BAR DIN valve fittings.

IMPORTANT: This adapter is to be used in filling or administration of oxygen only in case of emergency when a medical oxygen cylinder is not available.

The DIN fitting is the standard BSP G5/8 DIN connector that will fit 200 Bar valves. This version is NOT compatible 300 Bar valves, and also NOT compatible with the M26X2 Nitrox/Oxygen valve outlet mandated ONLY in the European Union by the EN 144-3:2003 standard.
