DGX Custom - Apeks DST/XTX50 Single Tank Reg Package

Everything you need for a high performance regulator setup in a Hogarthian single tank configuration. The package, using Apeks regulators, is completely assembled by Dive Gear Express.

Included with this Package:

• One Apeks DST First Stage and two Apeks XTX50 Second Stages
• One { 60 in | 1.5 m } or { 84 in | 2.1 m } Reg Hose for the primary
• One { 22 in | 56 cm } Reg Hose for the secondary
• One "Brass and Glass" SPG with { 26 in | 66 cm } HP Hose
• DIN-to-Yoke Spin-On Adapter, Necklace, S/S Bolt Snap, DIN Cap
• Optionally add a BC Inflator Hose or use the one that comes with your BC

The Apeks DST first stage is a unique over-balanced, diaphragm design - as the diver descends, the over-balancing feature allows the intermediate pressure gas in the hose to increase at a rate faster than ambient resulting in superb performance at extreme depths. The polished chrome plated body has two standard high pressure 7/16-inch ports and four standard high-flow low pressure 3/8-inch ports mounted on a swivel turret. An environmental seal keeps water out of the main spring chamber thus preventing ice buildup and keeping silt and contamination out. The Apeks DST first stage comes standard with a 300-BAR DIN connector.

The Apeks XTX50 second stage is a pneumatically-balanced design that results in smooth, easy breathing. The XTX50 purge button is large and easy to operate and features two-step progressive operation. Press the purge on the side for a lower flow rate, useful where more control is required such as filling lift bags, then press in the center for the full effect of the purge such as when clearing water. The large venturi lever has a soft touch rubber grip, which makes it easier to locate and use. Easy-to-grip opening effort adjustment knob keeps the diver in control. A heat exchanger which surrounds the valve mechanism, dissipates the cold caused by gas expansion while drawing in the warmth of the ambient water. The popular Apeks Comfo-bite™ mouthpiece by Aqualung greatly reduces jaw fatigue.
