We ship most orders the same business day.
About Our Shipping -- We ship from Pompano Beach FL 33073 USA to almost any address worldwide, subject to some restrictions for a few specific countries, via your paid choice of U.S. Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS), or DHL Worldwide Express. Once you reach a minimum order value that depends on the destination, most orders have a FREE Super Saver Shipping option where we select the carriers and service levels. You also can choose to take delivery of your order at our retail store location.
Orders with paid shipping and all Items marked In Stock, paid-in-full before 2:00 PM Eastern Time (our current local time is: ), usually dispatch the same day, weekends and holidays excepted. Most other orders ship within 1-2 business days. We'll always e-mail a tracking number when the order has shipped.
The day of shipment does not count as a business day. There is no weekend pickup carrier service for any of our expedited shipping options. Therefore, an expedited order that was fulfilled on a Friday evening, Saturday or Sunday does not actually reach the carrier systems and begin transit until Monday.
Shipping Rates -- The online rates quoted to us by the carrier are the exact same rates we show you during checkout. The easiest way for you determine our domestic or international shipping costs is to simply add your product choices to the shopping cart, select a checkout option, and then enter the ship to address to see all the various shipping options available and their exact cost.
Please keep in mind that for a low value order the minimum shipping fees can be disproportionate to the value of the order, so consider carefully before ordering low value goods with expedited shipping. Once you reach a minimum order value that depends on the destination, Super Saver shipping for most orders is FREE.
Delivery Terms -- If we arrange shipping then delivery terms are DAP destination (Incoterms 2020). DAP means we are responsible for packing plus shipping costs including guaranteed safe arrival at the ship-to address and ownership transfers to you upon delivery from the carrier. You are responsible for providing the correct address of a safe and secure delivery location, collecting the order from the carrier and promptly notifying us of any discrepancies. For international orders shipped outside the US, you are also responsible for paying import duty and tax upon delivery. Please note our special conditions for orders delivered to APO/FPO/DPO mailboxes and orders with specified date delivery. If your order specifies In-Store Pickup then delivery terms are EXW origin (Incoterms 2020). EXW means your unpackaged order is available for collection at our retail store location and ownership transfers to you upon exiting our premises.

Super Saver Shipping
Most FREE Super Saver orders dispatch within three business days. We'll pay the charges for Super Saver shipping and after your order is dispatched the transit time is about 1 to 2 weeks for Standard and Expedited is often within 2 business days to major cities. Please select a paid shipping choice if your order is time-sensitive, requires door-to-door tracking during transit, or to choose a specific carrier.

Domestic Paid Shipping Choices
US Postal Service Priority Mail provides delivery via mail carrier to all U.S. addresses. Transit time is typically three business days or less to the 50 states, and a variable length of time to the U.S. Territories. Using your USPS tracking number, you can manage delivery of your package with the USPS Informed Delivery® website.
UPS Ground provides date-definite delivery via private carrier to physical addresses (no PO boxes). Ground transit time depends on the address (see UPS Ground Map). Expedited 2nd Day Air®, and Next Day Air® receive priority order processing from Dive Gear Express and provide date-guaranteed delivery. Using your UPS tracking number, you can manage delivery of your package with the UPS My Choice® website.
International Paid Shipping Choices
US Postal Service Priority Mail International provides delivery via mail carrier to any address outside the US. Delivery is about one to two weeks, not counting any time required to clear local Customs. Depending on the destination country, door-to-door tracking information may not be available once the package reaches local Customs. USPS has a maximum value limit of USD $2500.00 on international packages.
UPS Worldwide Expedited provides fast international delivery to more than 80 countries. Orders receive priority processing at Dive Gear Express and delivery is about one week or less including expedited in-house Customs clearance. Our shopping cart will not provide the UPS Worldwide Expedited shipping choice if service is not available to your country.
DHL Worldwide Express provides the absolute fastest international delivery via private carrier. Orders receive priority processing at Dive Gear Express and delivery is about three business days or less including expedited in-house Customs clearance. Using your DHL tracking number, you can manage international delivery of your package with DHL On Demand™ website.
We Can't Always Take Blame for the Problem, But Do Take Responsibility for the Solution
Over the years we have shipped a great many packages to both domestic and international destinations from our facility in Florida using USPS, UPS and DHL services. While we do everything within our power to assure a smooth delivery, in our long experience about 1% of those packages will have some kind of shipping problem. Statistically, problems with all three couriers are about the same although we have developed preferences for some specific combinations of courier and destination.
Thankfully most problems are just transit delays due to a equipment failures, capacity overloads, or inclement weather. Handling damage is rare but seems to occur more often with heavy items such as tanks and delicate items such as oxygen sensors. Occasionally a package encounters a bureaucratic SNAFU even though we follow best practices to describe the nature, value, and contents of our shipments. While we might be blamed for shipping problems, the fact is that internal issues with bureaucracies and couriers are all well outside our control.
However, we do take responsibility for the solution to shipping problems because Dive Gear Express guarantees safe arrival of your order. Although rare, we know a problem can be frustrating when it happens to you and we will work with you to resolve any issue as quickly and effortlessly as possible. Express is part of our name and, while we can't overcome the physics of time and distance, we will try to get you back in the water as soon as possible.
