The Dive Rite Spring-Heel XT Fins offer an excellent combination of performance and value. Designed for performance and preferred by experienced divers, Dive Rite fins are ideal for diving in heavy flow or ripping currents.
Dive Gear Express will accept fins for return if you order the incorrect size. However fins do not qualify for a free prepaid return label. You will be responsible for return shipping costs. Return shipping costs on fins can be expensive because fins are a relatively low priced item that has a high 'dimensional weight'. Your complete satisfaction is our goal, so please consider carefully before purchase.

  • Monoprene blend offers excellent power to kick ratio
  • Includes stainless steel spring straps w/ pull tab
  • Made with a marine grade stainless steel buckle
  • Unique blade design works for any style of kick

The XT version of the Dive Rite fins offers a marine grade stainless steel buckle that secures the heel strap to the blade. The special blade design works for any style of kick, including frog kicks, modified flutter, and power kicks. The XT fin's blend of Monoprene™, an injection-molded thermoplastic elastomer material, offers excellent balance of power to work ratio, providing efficient finning in high flow or stiff currents. They are stiff, yet with plenty of snap. Plus they are lighter weight than traditional rubber fins meaning you are less likely to cramp with long distance swimming.

These fins come with stainless steel stretch spring heel fin straps, specifically designed for Dive Rite fins. The pliable spring-heel strap allows for quick donning/doffing. The spring design includes a comfort heel pad with convenience pull tab for ease of use. The convenience pull tab may be permanently removed if you prefer. The stainless steel buckle is a Dive Rite exclusive, and is guaranteed not to crack or break.

When selecting the size, keep in mind which style suit you will be diving -- wetsuit booties or a drysuit. The Extra Large size accommodates some oversize drysuit boots.

    China?

These fins are made in China! The last place I expected a Dive Rite product to be made at. I am one of those folks that buy U.S. or at the very least not from China. The fins are excellent, but made in China.

This is a second pair I bought from DGX. The first one was the old model with a plastic buckle. Been using it for 3 years and manage to logged 500 dives and still doing well.
It’s a very good fins, a bit negative bouyant which was good for macro photographer.
When it comes to speed this fins really fast.

What Size Fins Do I Need?

Unlike shoes, the question is difficult to answer with fins because a 'shoe' size is only part of the answer. The brand and type of neoprene bootie you wear, particularly if you wear heavy soled or rock boots, will have as much effect on the selection of fin foot pocket as the shoe size. Some people, especially those with high arches, prefer a loose fit in their fin and others prefer a snug fit. Fitting drysuit boots in the very large sizes is especially problematic.

There is no size standardization between brands of fins (or even between different models from the same brand) and so you cannot assume that a size in one brand of fin is the same dimensions as the size in another brand; even when the designs look very similar. Taking some actual measurements of your boot while on your foot and comparing to our foot pocket dimension charts will help determine the size selection for your desired fit.

Determine your correct size before you order! If you are not certain about your fin size then our recommendation is not to order until you can obtain that information. While Dive Gear Express will accept fins for return, fins do not qualify for a free prepaid return label. You will be responsible for return shipping costs. Return shipping costs on fins can be expensive (especially from an International location) because fins are a relatively low priced item that has a high 'dimensional weight'. Your complete satisfaction is our goal, so please consider carefully before purchase.
