DGX Assembly Screws, Metal, Set of TWO
- Attachment screws for underwater use
- Marine grade chrome-plated brass
- Fits through a 3/8-inch hole and includes o-rings
- Includes Qty 2 complete assembly screws
Designed to fit through a 3/8-inch hole, the metal assembly screws include o-rings to help keep the screw in place.
Marine grade chrome-plated brass, sold as a set of two.
Note: we do NOT recommend using these screws to secure wings to backplates. The metal screws will not allow the cylinder to lay flat and in addition they may scratch your tank. We suggest you use the plastic assembly screws for that purpose.

on 1 October, 2018Simple, straightforward and super durable. Easy to set up and take off when needed. Well made and super strong.
Got two sets to have a spare in case I add more gear to my backplate!

on 10 August, 2018Great quality and price. One thing to note, I bought these to attach a VDH wing to an AL backplate (no STA) and the female side is too long for this purpose. A couple minutes with a dremel solved it, but just be aware if that's what you're planning on using these for. Overall I would buy them again

Using the metal grommets......
Using the metal grommets, either the DR or the XS sleeve can easily be attached to the bottom or sides of any standard metal backplate using assembly screws or attached to the Transpac using medium quick links or the pear shaped quick links. We find that for this application, the plastic assembly screws work just as well as the metal versions and cost a lot less. You can also use ordinary cable ties, but in our experience cable ties don't hold so you'll need to double up.
