We ship your AL-8 cylinder with the valve installed (domestic US only). The valve included in our price is a XS Scuba brand Nitrox Ready Pro DIN/K with a safety handwheel, suitable for use with both DIN or Yoke regulator fittings. Note this is a special valve bundled with this cylinder and has a burst disk configured for a service pressure of 2015 psi, no substitutions please. Cylinder and valve will have a current month VIP decal. Although we know that most divers use this cylinder with air, the crown of the cylinder is stamped with the phrase "Argon Gas Only".

  2. Does size matter

    Depends. I bought 8cube cylinders because they are more than the standard 6 cube and I am more comfortable on deep dives with a bit of reserve. They are"chubby and may not be right for cave diving, but work well in open water.
