Wrist Slate, Multi-Page w/Carbon Pencil

The wrist slate offers not one, but three separate writing surfaces. The leaves flip up for easy access. When you are done writing, an elastic cord helps snap the leaves back in place, and a special sleeve stows the attached carbon stick pencil.

This wrist slate slides up and curves around your wetsuit- or drysuit-covered forearm. Two mounting options: Use your choice of the velcro strap or elastic bungee cords (both cords and the strap are included) to hold the wrist slate firmly in place.

Dive Rite Notebook Cover The wet notebook allows you to jot notes underwater with a carbon stick pencil attached with a lanyard. Whether it is for research notes, communication, or tic-tac-toe during decompression, this handy 28-page, 5-inch by 7-inch notebook tucks conveniently into most diver accessory pockets. Works great above water too! When done, clean and reuse the pages as with any slate.

Dive wRites Notebook Open The Dive wRites Notebook Combo is the active diver's storage and organizer together with the underwater notebook itself. The cover is a ballistic nylon tri-fold wallet that closes with Velcro and has a clear, plastic sleeve placed on the outside back panel. Used for carrying dive tables, this sleeve gives divers quick access to critical decompression information. Recently updated, the cover is lightly larger (5.5-inches X 7.5-inches) and the clear back pocket can now accommodate printed dive tables or rebreather checklists. Inside, three longer pencil sleeves better suit a wide variety of pencils and the back, inner cover now sports a small pocket. Daisy chains on the spine allow divers to stuff the notebook full and hold all the contents with bungee, if so desired.

Mr. Cleaning Your Dive Slate and Wetnotes

Divers have tried a lot of ways to clean their slate or wetnotes: kitchen cleansers like Ajax and SoftScrub, as well as toothpaste and sandpaper, but they all pretty much make a mess and are not very handy. Recently one of our customers told us about Mr. Clean® Magic Eraser®. It looks like a small sponge, and is not abrasive or soapy. You can get a box of them in any grocery store, and to make them last longer simply cut each sponge in half. To quickly remove your carbon pencil notes just wet it and wipe, and we aren"t talking elbow grease... just wipe. We don't know how it works, but it works great and there is no soapy residue, so you can just throw them in your dive bag or dry box.
