All three cutting tool versions: Z-knife, Cold Water Z-knife, and Trauma Shears each include a special daisy chain sheath. These cutting device sheaths can also be worn on a standard 2-inch waist belt. A special heavy-duty Annex clip on the back of the sheath can be attached to the daisy chain loop on Dive Rite pockets - the clip simply slips through the loop and snaps into place. These clips are rugged and won't come unclasped underwater. To remove, simply pinch the clip ends slightly to release... easy enough, but not so easy that it will come undone all on its own. The sheath clip will also close around cylinder hose retainers, wrist straps, gaiters or a chest strap. A quick-release Velcro lanyard keeps the cutting tools securely in place. The design of the daisy chain sheath allows for easy replacement of the cutting tool itself without having to replace the sheath or lanyard.

DR Open-Water Essentials Accessory Package

The Dive Rite Open-Water Essentials Accessory Package is a collection of popular tools and accessories for open-water divers in a convenient value priced package. The easy-to-use package includes the exceptionally popular Dive Rite add-on thigh pocket with trauma shears, safety sausage with a 50 ft finger spool, and an underwater notebook with carbon pencil. As a bonus, Dive Rite includes a safety whistle and oval Dive Rite decal.

The thigh pocket allows everything to be quickly added to any BC with a 2-inch waist belt. The bellows pocket itself is attached to the waist belt via a slide release buckle that allows don or doff of the thigh pocket without having to unbuckle the waist belt and slide the pocket off. An innovative leg band grips your exposure suit and keeps the pocket in place on your thigh. The thigh pocket includes daisy chain webbing on the external pocket for clipping the trauma shears or any tool that you need in easy reach. Inside the thigh pocket is a looped lanyard to clip off the finger spool and safety sausage, the notepad plus other items such as a pocket light.

Waistbelt Sheath w/Knife and Shears

Our hogarthian waistbelt webbing sheath is hot-knife trimmed and professionally stitched. It is designed to hold either a knife or EMT shears, and both are included. Cave divers will load the traditional hogarthian line cutting tool, a blunt-tip knife with a very sharp stainless steel 2-inch serrated blade. For open water and wreck diving, load the sheath with heavy-duty EMT shears that have saltwater ready stainless steel construction and an industrial titanium nitride coating for longer lasting, corrosion resisting edges.

The 1-inch strap mount employs a simple 1-inch slot in the pouch. This is ideal for mounting your Z-knife to a computer strap, chest strap, or other 1-inch webbing.

The Vertical shoulder mount employs two Velcro loops: one to attach to a two-inch shoulder strap, and the other to secure to a D-ring, belt slide, etc. (D-ring and belt slide not included.)

The recently improved design of the Z-knife mounting system allows for easy replacement of the cutting tool itself without having to replace the pouch or lanyard.

Jon Line w/Carabiner

The jon line allows multiple divers to stay at the same depth on one line, and keeps you from being pulled up and down by a pitching and rolling boat in rough seas. This allows you to maintain a specific depth for decompression or safety stops, while maintaining contact with the line. It easily clips onto an anchor or down line, and just as easily unlocks from the line making depth changes effortless. The Jon Line with Carabiner contains six feet of 1-inch nylon webbing with a stainless steel carabiner and is stored in a handy dispenser that fits on any 2-inch harness webbing.
