These high pressure double braided hoses have an outer polyester braided cover that is laid over a woven Kevlar layer. (Although the Kevlar makes them not as flexible as our low pressure double braided hoses, they are still more flexible than ordinary rubber HP hoses.) This hose has a typical outside diameter that works better with hose boots and consoles. Every hose is tested to 5000 psi and has a rated burst strength of 22000 PSI. Their fittings are made from quality chrome-plated brass. The typical HP hose is a 7/16-inch male at the end that screws into the first stage HP port, and a 7/16-inch female at the end that screws on to the SPG. Length is measured in inches, from end to end of hose, including the fittings and their threads.

Note that all high pressure hoses use an 'air spool' with two tiny o-rings to mate the swivel connector on the hose to the fitting on the gauge. The air spool is not included with the hose (see the price list below to order) but we recommend replacing the air spool when replacing the hose. The standard spool has the flange in the center as pictured at right but a few SPGs, typically the plastic body ones, may only accept a spool without a shoulder in which case you will have to reuse the air spool from the SPG.

Our BC inflator double braided flexible hose is designed for extra long wear with a maximum working pressure of 1,500 psi and a minimum burst pressure of 6,000 psi. The fittings are made from quality chrome-plated brass. The typical low-pressure BC inflator hose is a 3/8-inch male at the end that screws into the first stage LP port, and at the other end is the Quick Disconnect BC female slide-lock Schrader valve fitting that accepts the standard BC inflator male QD post. Length is measured in inches, from end to end of hose, including the fittings and their threads.

All regulator double braided flexible hoses are individually tested to 1500 psi (far greater than the 140 psi of most regulator pressures) and have a minimum burst pressure of 6000 psi. They are suitable for use with all breathing gases including air, nitrox, trimix and oxygen, and have fittings made from quality chrome-plated brass. Available in lengths ranging from { 22 in | 55.9 cm } to { 84 in | 213.4 cm }. Length is measured from end to end of the hose, including the fittings and their threads. These low pressure hoses are great for stage/deco bottles, and we offer the {40 in | 101.6 cm } length commonly used for stage/deco and octo hoses in your choice of three colors: black, green, and yellow. The typical low pressure regulator hose is a 3/8-inch male at the end that screws into the first stage LP port, and at the other end you'll find a 9/16-inch female that screws onto the second stage regulator body.

Most first stage low-pressure ports and hoses (including all the brands we carry) are 3/8-inch female. A few brands have a special low-pressure port that is 1/2-inch female, notably some Apex and older Aqualung models. We offer 1/2-inch to 3/8-inch hose adapters.
