Most first stage low-pressure ports and hoses (including all the brands we carry) are 3/8-inch female. A few brands have a special low-pressure port that is 1/2-inch female, notably some Apex and older Aqualung models. We offer 1/2-inch to 3/8-inch hose adapters.

Coupler: Joins LP Reg Hoses w/ 3/8-Inch Fittings

The 9/16-inch male end screws into the second stage end of a LP regulator hose, and the other end of the coupler has a 3/8-inch female fitting. This coupler allows two LP regulator hoses to be joined together into one longer regulator hose.

Adapter: Turns LP Reg Hose into BC Inflator Hose

The 9/16-inch male end screws into the second stage end of an ordinary LP regulator hose, and the other end of the adapter is a Quick Disconnect BC female slide-lock Schrader valve fitting that accepts the standard BC inflator male QD post. This adapter allows a standard LP regulator hose to be converted into a BC inflator hose.

Adapter: LP Reg Hose = BC Integrated 2nd Stage (ScubaPro Style)

The 9/16-inch male end screws into the second stage end of an ordinary LP regulator hose, and the other end of the adapter is a female slide-lock fitting that accepts the hi-flow male post found on the BC integrated second stages of the Dive Rite Source, ScubaPro Air II, Tusa Duo-Air IR3, Sherwood Gemini, and Atomic SS1. This adapter allows any length LP regulator hose to be converted into a quick disconnect hose for BC integrated alternate air sources.

Adapter: Mini-SPG to HP Hose, Straight (includes spool)

The 7/16-inch female end screws into a mini-SPG, and the other end of the adapter is an airspool that connects to a high-pressure hose. Another popular application for this adapter is to solve an often seen problem with the remote pressure transmitter on air integrated dive computers. Screwing the transmitter directly in to a HP port can obstruct access to an adjacent port on some first stage designs. This adapter can be used as a 'standoff', raising the transmitter away from the body of the first stage.

Omni-Swivel, LP 2nd Stage: 9/16-Inch M = 9/16-Inch F

Supplied by OmniSwivel International, this very high quality omni-directional swivel screws inline between the low-pressure hose and the second stage. Offering complete 360° rotation, it allows the low-pressure hose to exit the second stage at any angle you choose. The swivel movement allows the regulator mouthpiece to move without restriction. Moving your head in any direction will not cause the second stage to pull on your jaw. This adapter makes the regulator feel much more comfortable in your mouth on waist-mounted deco and stage cylinders where the hose runs down your chest rather than over your shoulder.

Highland Right Angle Swivel, LP 2nd Stage: 9/16-Inch M = 9/16-Inch F

The Highland Right Angle Adapter makes your primary regulator hose more comfortable while diving. It installs between the second stage and the regulator hose. It is not a fixed 'elbow', it actually swivels at the regulator and at the hose, but is not an omni-directional swivel and so it maintains its 90° angle and will not allow the regulator to flop around. Placed on a 40-inch primary regulator hose in a single-tank regulator configuration, it allows the hose to route down under the arm and up to the mouth, getting rid of the large hose "arc" that protrudes from the tank around the diver, offering a more streamlined configuration.

The Dive Rite 90° Swivel Adapter attaches between the regulator second stage and its low pressure hose routing the hose down the diver's chest and/or under the arm, which increases comfort and streamlining. Supplied by OmniSwivel International, this very high quality swivel screws inline between the hose and the first stage regulator body. It allows more movement of the hose at the first stage, and can be used to streamline the area of the first stage by providing tighter hose routing. The low-pressure version has 3/8-inch M-F fittings.

> High Flow Quick Disconnect Fittings

The quick disconnect system by OmniSwivel International, offers high-flow performance (unlike a typical BC quick disconnect). Each fitting is sold separately and you'll need to determine how many of which fittings you need to build your system. The quick disconnect slider has 9/16-inch male threads that attach to a standard low-pressure regulator hose, accepts the nipple with a positive locking mechanism which prevents accidental disconnection, and automatically seals when disconnected. We offer three different versions of the nipple fitting. One version of the QD nipple fitting attaches to the standard 9/16-inch male threads found on most second stages. The other two versions of the QD nipple fittings have male threads that screw into either the standard low-pressure regulator hose 9/16-inch fitting or the standard low-pressure 3/8-inch port of the 1st stage (not pictured, similar in appearance to the 9/16-inch version). Note: the OSI QD system is not compatible with CEJN type fittings.

Adapter, LP 2nd Stage: 9/16-Inch FI = BC Inflator QD Post

Supplied by OmniSwivel International, the regulator quick connection adapter attaches to the standard 9/16-inch threads found on most second stages, where the low pressure hose would normally attach, and the other end has a standard BC inflator male QD post. This tool allows a diver to plug a second stage into the rebreather manual addition hose to allow access to the onboard gas supply. Typically the adapter would be used to gain access to the onboard oxygen but could be used for shallow access to diluent as well. The 2nd Stage Quick Connection Adapter will not supply adequate gas if the diver is deeper than 20 feet.

Highland EZ QD Adapter

The Highland "EZ" QD Adapter converts any standard LP regulator hose to a low pressure QD hose and works particularly well as a drysuit inflator hose. It works GREAT with the Miflex LP hoses to produce an extremely flexible drysuit inflator hose solution. Just push on to attach to the inflation fitting, no need to pull back the collar. However, it still has a positive locking mechanism that requires the collar to be pulled back to disconnect. The large collar makes it easy to remove even with heavy gloves and is a much better solution than the 'hose hat' addons for standard BC inflator hoses. The collar also has a 'flat' area that makes it work very well in tight areas such as next to drysuit inflator valves. This adapter is constructed with chromed brass, delrin and is nitrox ready with Viton o-rings.

Inline Shutoff Valve: 9/16-Inch M = 9/16-Inch F

This very high quality shutoff valve by OmniSwivel International fits in-line between your low-pressure hose and second stage regulator. The shutoff valve opens and closes very quickly by sliding (ON is toward the Second Stage), and provides positive tactile feedback when operated. Used to prevent gas loss from dribbling or free flowing from a second stage or rebreather ADV, or whenever the ability to very rapidly stop gas flow is required. The regulator first stage should also have an OPV if the shutoff is used to disable the only pressure relief path.

Compact Inline Shutoff Valve

This Asian manufactured alternative to OmniSwivel version of the in-line shutoff slide valve is significantly smaller and a bit lower cost. It also has a different feel to the slide valve operation that requires less force to open and close with less of a positive "detent" (also, ON is toward the hose, not the second stage). As with any cutoff, the regulator first stage should also have an OPV if the shutoff is used to disable the only pressure relief path.

Dust Cap, LP 2nd Stage: 9/16-Inch F

Supplied by OmniSwivel International, this 2nd stage cap seals the standard 9/16-inch fitting found on most regulator second stages. It protects the inlet threads and prevents contaminants from entering when the supply hose is disconnected. It is recommended for the O2ptima rebreather to cover the external threads of the oxygen solenoid inlet port when not in use, for example when traveling.

Adapter: Tire Inflator to Male BC Inflator Quick Release

Tire chuck on one end and a standard BC inflator male quick-release post on the other end. With this you can inflate tires, or anything else with a Schrader valve stem, from a SCUBA tank using a first stage regulator and BC inflator hose. Adapter: Air Nozzle to Male BC Inflator Quick Release

Rubber air nozzle on one end and a standard BC inflator male quick-release post on the other end. Normally closed, you depress the side of the rubber air nozzle to release and regulate air flow.
