Dive light manufacturers resist selling canister light component parts unless they are being sold as part of a factory repair of a complete light system. That's because there have been numerous changes to lights over the years, and currently available parts are unlikely to work with older lights or interchange between brands of lights. Although dive lights may appear to be very simple devices, there is actually a LOT of knowledge and skill along with special tools required to build and repair a canister light. We don't have technical specifications on these parts. Support on component parts is not something Dive Gear Express is qualified to provide because we don't build lights.

The Solution - Part I: Send your canister light to the manufacturer for repair. Our experience has been our manufacturers do a GREAT job of customer service on light repairs and their prices for out-of-warranty repairs are excellent. The turn around is usually just a few days but can be longer if there are special circumstances such as a difficult to diagnose problem. Just contact the manufacturer directly to get a service quote and RMA number, and send the light to them. If you need it back by a certain date for that "big dive", be sure to let them know.
