The Value of Additional Batteries & Chargers

An alternative to using your battery for more than one dive before charging is to purchase additional batteries. Doing so enables you to have a fully charged battery for every dive and decreases the risk of battery damage over multiple dives. In fact, the cost of owning two or more batteries can easily be less than the cost of repeatedly replacing a single battery that wears out prematurely due to over use. Owning additional chargers can save time as well by allowing you to charge multiple batteries simultaneously.

User Replacement Parts

In our price list below, you'll find the ordinary user replacement parts for the Dive Rite HID canister lights such as o-rings, bulbs, and reflectors. Visit our Component Parts page for the non user-serviceable individual component parts such as sealing glands, latches, switches, etc.

Most Dive Rite HID lights have a user-replaceable bulb. Still, we recommend returning your light to their factory service center for bulb replacements. Yes, a factory bulb replacement will cost more than DIY. However, factory service for changing the bulb includes a warranty that acts like insurance. If your light floods after a factory bulb change, then you can just return it under warranty. Our experience has been Dive Rite does a GREAT job of customer service on lights and the turn around is usually only a day or two. Just Contact the Dive Rite factory to get a service quote and RMA number, and send the light to them. If you need it back by a certain date for that "big dive", be sure to let them know. Nonetheless, we also offer replacement bulbs, as many divers feel competent to change the bulb in their light, and sometimes it's not practical to wait for factory turnaround.
