"Clean and Clear" Contents Identification & MOD Decals

The design of our "Clean and Clear™" Decals contain only the key information and delete extraneous statements or graphics that obscured the message. This makes the key words larger, and yet keeps the overall size of the decals to a minimum. We selected a serif font because studies have proven serif to be more readable. Finally, there is no marketing or promotional clutter on our decals, so they really are "Clean and Clear".

Nitrox Tank Wrap Decal, 24-Inch x 6-Inch

The Nitrox Tank Wrap Decal consists of two 1-inch Yellow outer bands and a 4-inch Green center band. Our tank wrap design allows you to read the word "Nitrox" regardless of the viewing perspective and can be used on any color tank to identify Nitrox. (With other tank wrap designs, including our previous design, you might see only something like "Enriched" or "Air" or "OX".)

The cylinder contents decals are available in a variety of wordings and colors in a 3-inch x 10-inch size. The Argon is a 3-inch x 8-inch decal.

We've decided to eliminate the archaic "MOD ____" write-in space from the decals as it's rarely used anymore because dedicated MOD decals are the standard now. (Also, the write-in required a special marker, it wasn't readable underwater, and it could rub off.)

Perfect Positioning of Decals

Clean the surface of the cylinder to remove any deposits and old decals. On painted aluminum cylinders we recommend scraping any blistering or peeling areas to remove loose paint. Most adhesive remnants are easily and safely removed with Goo Gone. If you use any cleaning solvent, keep it off the valve and neck; be sure to rinse with soap and water when you are done. Once the cylinder is clean, peel the backing off your decal, lightly wet the adhesive back with soapy water, and apply the decal to the cylinder. While wet, the decal can be perfectly positioned then allowed to dry. Once the soap evaporates, the decal adheres very well.
