The VR3 HD Dive Computer from VR Technology Ltd (formerly Delta P Technology) is a full decompression dive computer incorporating a derivative of the Bühlmann ZH-L16 algorithm with modifications to support deep stops, adjustable shallow stop depth, and dynamic decompression ceilings. An optional upgrade allows switching between the Bühlmann ZH-L16 and a user adjustable decompression algorithm (VGM). During a decompression dive, the VR3 provides complete information displays of all required stop times. The VR3 can provide time-to-surface based on "look ahead" at planned gas switches. The VR3 will NOT "lockout" after a missed stop or ascent rate violation. The VR3 upgrade options also provide outstanding support for semi-closed and fully closed-circuit rebreathers. Multi-Color Feature Activation PIN

This Feature Activation PIN allows you to change your VRx, NHeo or 2008 VR3 HD model from single-color (i.e. black and white) to multi-color. With this PIN, the LCD takes you to the Color Modes screen which allows you to change the colors associated with particular functions and areas of the display screens. If you are happy with the default colors, there is no need to adjust anything in this screen. If you already have your VR computer, please supply your Serial Number in Special Instructions at checkout. Per VR Technology policy, add on PIN's for existing VR computers are not returnable.

VGM Algorithm Feature Activation PIN

With the VGM upgrade, the VR diver has the option of choosing the decompression algorithm they prefer for the type of dive they are doing. The diver may switch between the standard VR3 (Bühlmann ZH-L16 based) algorithm with 2 minute deep stops or the Variable Gradient Model (VGM) decompression algorithm pioneered by VR Technology. VGM allows the diver to extensively customize the deep to shallow stop ratio and the overall stop time at each level. For VR3 manufactured prior to December 2008, support for the VGM user adjustable deco algorithm requires physical update to the VR3 dive computer itself.

Gas Calculator Features Activation PIN

The UG5 Feature Activation PIN allows you to calculate gas blending pressures (in PSI or BAR). Determine how much gas to add by changing the Have settings. You can also calculate the mix using the WANT column by changing the MaxD (maximum depth in Feet or Meters), EAND (Equivalent Narcotic Depth in Feet or Meters) and PPO2 settings. Also supports Bigger Graphics feature in X10 mode. If you already have your VR computer, please supply your Serial Number in Special Instructions at checkout. PC Link Kit: USB-to-I/O Port Cable, PC Software Suite, PIN (C11)

The PC Link cable and ProLink software are used to download and analyze dives from a VR dive computer with MS Windows PC (Vista currently not supported). PC Link also includes upload feature permitting the installation of PINs, personalization details, and gas profiles via the PC Link rather than manually. The package includes a data cable, Software Suite CD, embroidered storage case and Feature Activation PIN. The Software Suite CD includes ProLink logging software, PC Link drivers and documentation. (Software Suite supports Windows XP and earlier. As of December 2009 it does not support Vista or Win7.)
