The NiTek X dive computer is the next generation dive computer from Dive Rite NiTek. A mixed-gas computer with full decompression capabilities, the NiTek X is extremely intuitive to use. Divers will find they can easily scroll through the menu and setup their dive without needing to read complex instructions. The NiTek X uses a modified Bühlmann ZH-L16 algorithm with pre-programmed and user selectable gradient factors to support deep stops. During a decompression dive, the NiTek X provides Nitek X with CO2 Monitoring Cable decompression stop times and displays time-to-surface based on planned PO2. Divers will appreciate the lightweight frame along with the large 2.7-inch screen with 22 point font display for depth and time. The NiTek X offers support for closed-circuit rebreathers including constant PO2 set point and external oxygen sensor decompression calculations. The NiTek X from Dive Gear Express includes a depth compensating wrist strap and a FREE padded case. Optional cable is available for 4th cell integration with the Dive Rite O2ptima rebreather. Optional cable and Workbench software is available for data download.

NiTek X PC/Mac Transfer Cable

The Nitek X PC/MAC Transfer Cable is a low profile USB cable that plugs into the Fischer connection on the NiTek X. Together with the Workbench software the cable enables the following features:
  • NiTek Control – Allows user to program gases and other features accessed under the “SET” menu on the dive computer, eliminating the need to push buttons on the NiTek X in order to set menu selections.
  • Dive Log – Downloads up to 15 hours of dive time with programmed gases and dive profile. The download records the serial number of the computer so multiple computers can be downloaded.
  • Dive Planner – Includes dive planning, gases and blender including mixing and top off function. Dive tables that match the NiTek X parameters can be generated from this tab for back up.
  • Easy Install – Works with MAC or PC computers. Users should have administrator rights when installing on a networked computer.
When using 4th cell integration with an O2ptima CCR, the Workbench dive log will display a graph of the actual loop PO2 over time, which is valuable information for loop management.
