The NHeO from VR Technologies is designed to provide a very streamlined and user-friendly technical dive computer at a value price. While using the NHeO is simple, this computer does everything you need and is full of features. The NHeO from Dive Gear Express right out of the box is ready for all your open circuit Air, Nitrox and Trimix diving. Program it with up to 4 gas mixtures and hit the water with confidence. The NHeO offers a low profile ergonomic shape with a very low weight and uses AA size user changable batteries. The NHeO's high resolution single color HD display is PIN upgradable to multi-color.

NHeO with Carry Bag, Wrist Strap and CD The NHeO is a full decompression dive computer incorporating a derivative of the Bühlmann ZH-L16 algorithm with modifications to support deep stops and dynamic decompression ceilings. During a decompression dive, the NHeO provides complete information displays of all required stop times. The NHeO can provide time-to-surface based on "look ahead" at planned gas switches. The NHeO will NOT "lockout" after a missed stop or ascent rate violation.

A Trimix Computer At Less $1000... What's the 'Gotcha'?

Technical multi-gas dive computers with full trimix support are typically in the $1100 to $1800 price range; so you have to wonder if there is a 'gotcha'. Rest assured the NHeO really is a full trimix dive computer from a major manufacturer of technical dive computers, VR Technology. It's richly featured for diving with a housing that is depth rated for 500 feet (150 meters) but does not include an I/O port interface for external connections. It has VR's proven deep stops deco algorithm, but does not offer the option of a user adjustable deco algorithm for ultra extreme dives. They did manage to squeeze in a deco game, but there is no day planner or gas blending calculator. If you just want to go tech diving with a proven dive computer, this is an excellent choice at a value price. If you like tweeking settings or need downloading to your desktop PC, then you should consider the VRx dive computer.

Multi-Color Feature Activation PIN

This Feature Activation PIN allows you to change your VRx, NHeo or 2008 VR3 HD model from single-color (i.e. black and white) to multi-color. With this PIN, the LCD takes you to the Color Modes screen which allows you to change the colors associated with particular functions and areas of the display screens. If you are happy with the default colors, there is no need to adjust anything in this screen. If you already have your VR computer, please supply your Serial Number in Special Instructions at checkout. Per VR Technology policy, add on PIN's for existing VR computers are not returnable.
