This is an integrated system built using your choice of current Hollis Gear brand products. > Hollis Elite 2 Harness

Tech/Rec is at its best with the Elite 2 Harness. The Elite 2 Harness System offers you all the features of a technical harness with additional comfort. The Elite 2 Harness shoulder pads have 2 adjustable stainless steel bent D-rings and an adjustable sternum strap with 3 chest mounting positions allowing for a comfortable fit. The Elite 2 Harness now includes a 2-inch sewn loop crotch strap with D-Ring.

> Hollis Backplates

Backplates are available in anodized aluminum, or polished stainless steel. Aluminum backplates are the most popular with freshwater divers and divers using steel tanks. Some divers prefer stainless backplates due to the fact that they are approximately five pounds more negatively buoyant, which helps offset the additional buoyancy of saltwater or aluminum tanks.

The aluminum and stainless steel backplates are exactly the same shape and size. They are designed with slots to accommodate your choice of a 1-inch or 2-inch crotch strap and come with holes along the sides for mounting accessories. The Hollis backplate is engineered to fit closer to the cylinders. The slots and holes are fully deburred to eliminate sharp edges and the outside edges are radius-formed to fit the Hollis BC, thus preventing chafing of the BC. One very nice feature of the Hollis plate is the bottom corners are flared out so they don't dig in to your lower back, as is common with most backplates.

The aluminum backplate has an anodized black finish. Compared to the natural aluminum finish, the durable anodized aluminum finish provides greater corrosion resistance and a better consistency in appearance.
